Alex McFarlane is a graduate
of the School of the Arts,
Columbia University. Throughout
a thirty-year career, he has exhibited extensively in the New York art world
and has been the subject of many articles and reviews in national
publications and media including featured stories by Grace Glueck for
the The New York Times, Holland Cotter for Arts Magazine, and other reviews and articles in Art Forum magazine.
He is the recipient of the Louis
Comfort Tiffany Foundation award
and the New York Foundation
for the Arts award and is a fellow of the Augustus St. Gaudins Foundation.
Alex is represented in many corporate collections including General Electric, Prudential and Morgan Chase. His art and sculpture is represented in many private and public collections.
